According to the fuel (electricity, oil and gas), steam boilers can be divided into three types: electric steam boilers, oil fired steam boilers and gas-fired steam boilers; according to their structures, they can be divided into vertical steam boilers and horizontal steam boilers; small and medium-sized steam boilers are mostly vertical structures with single and double return passes; large steam boilers are mostly horizontal structures with three return passes.

The heating equipment (burner) releases heat. Firstly, it is absorbed by the water wall through radiation heat transfer. The water in the water wall boils and vaporizes. A large amount of steam is generated and enters the steam drum for steam water separation (except for once through boiler). The separated saturated steam enters the superheater. Through radiation and convection, it continues to absorb the heat of flue gas at the top of furnace, horizontal flue and tail flue, and makes the superheated steam reach Required operating temperature. The boiler for power generation is usually equipped with a reheater, which is used to heat the steam after the high-pressure cylinder has done work. The reheated steam from the reheater goes to the medium and low-pressure cylinders to continue to work for power generation.

Application requirements of steam boiler

1. Before the fire of steam boiler, check whether the water pipe, steam pipe, pressure gauge, safety valve, water level gauge and blowdown valve are in good condition.

2. Water for steam boiler shall be softened and kept clean without grease.

3. The glass tube of the water level gauge shall be equipped with a solid protective cover, and the outside shall be kept clean. Each shift should be washed once to see if the water level in the water gauge can rise or fall rapidly. If the water surface in the water level gauge is sluggish and does not jump during operation, the cause shall be found out immediately to prevent the formation of false water level.

4. The safety valve on the steam boiler shall not be adjusted arbitrarily. When the pressure gauge reaches more than 80% of the allowable working pressure, the safety valve should be vented once. Do not bind or insert the valve stem.

5. After boosting the steam boiler, check whether the steam valve is sensitive and pay attention to the water level frequently to keep it at the position of 2 / 3 of the water level gauge.

The vertical oil and gas-fired steam boiler adopts the mode of burner down position, two-way structure, full fuel combustion and stable operation of the boiler; there are spoiler inserted in the smoke pipe to slow down the smoke exhaust speed, increase the heat exchange, high thermal efficiency of the boiler and reduce the user cost.

The horizontal steam boiler is a shell type full wet back forward flow three-way pyrotechnic tube structure. The flame burns in the large combustion chamber with micro positive pressure, fully extends, has low combustion heat load and high combustion thermal efficiency, effectively reduces the exhaust gas temperature, saves energy and reduces consumption, and is economical to use. The structure of corrugated furnace liner and spiral smoke pipe not only improves the heat absorption strength of the boiler, but also meets the needs of heat expansion of the heat exchange surface. It is scientific and reasonable and durable.
